Julia Dunn is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) who provides a warm and supportive space for her clients to feel safe and heard. With a collaborative and person-centered approach, Julia is passionate about helping her clients discover their purpose and take steps toward becoming the best version of themselves.
Julia is committed to treating adolescents and adults who are walking through some of the most challenging parts of their lives through instilling hope, building on strengths, and collaboratively setting goals to help them move forward. She sees individuals for a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, self-esteem, trauma, grief and loss, and life transition. Julia also enjoys exploring topics relating to spirituality, identity development, and career planning.
Julia has experience working in clinical, school-based, group, and summer camp settings. Her kind and approachable nature provides an inviting environment that allows her clients to feel seen and deeply cared for. She values authenticity and creativity in the therapy space and believes that helping others find relief from the weight that they are carrying is her calling.
Julia holds a Master of Science in Counseling from the University of North Georgia after having earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of North Georgia. She is currently under the administrative and clinical supervision of Dr. Maureen Keown, Psy.D., and Amanda Marks, LPC, CPCS, as she pursues independent licensure.
