PaIGE CAPPONI
Paige Capponi is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) who believes everyone possesses an innate ability to heal, grow, and reconnect with themselves when given the right tools and support. Taking the step to start therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. Her goal is to offer a collaborative, safe, and compassionate space where you can feel truly heard, gain deeper self-awareness, and build practical strategies to thrive.
Therapy with Paige is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. She brings her authentic self into the room, which means you get an active listener who offers real-time feedback, gentle accountability, and practical tools, all balanced with warmth and a touch of humor when appropriate. You are the expert on your own life; her role is to walk alongside you, offering new perspectives and evidence-based strategies to help you reach your goals.
She grounds her practice in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). This means you will work together to understand the connections between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while she will equip you with concrete skills for mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and healthier communication. Whether you are looking to process deep-rooted experiences or need actionable strategies for daily life, she tailors your work to fit your unique goals and pace.
Paige specializes in working with young adults and adults navigating a wide range of mental health and life experiences, including:
- Anxiety & Depression: Finding relief from persistent worry, burnout, or mood struggles.
- Trauma & Healing: Safely processing past experiences to foster resilience and growth.
- Life Transitions: Adapting to major changes, career shifts, or identity evolution.
- Substance Use & Recovery: Navigating healthy coping strategies and dynamic change.
- Relationship Issues: Strengthening boundaries, communication, and interpersonal effectiveness.
- Psychosis & Complex Conditions: Providing grounded, compassionate support for complex mental health needs.
At her core, Paige approaches therapy with profound kindness, genuineness, and an unwavering commitment to authenticity. She strives to provide an open-minded, deeply supportive space where clients from all walks of life feel safe to bring their whole selves. This work isn’t just her profession, but it is truly her calling, and she considers it a privilege to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing, self-discovery, and meaningful growth.
Paige holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Georgia State University after having earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Belmont University.
