What is the length and frequency of our sessions?
Our standard sessions are 50 minutes for a regular session and 55 for an intake session. You and your therapist will collaborate on the frequency of sessions, but typically they are weekly or biweekly.
How much is the session fee?
The session fees vary according to the experience of the therapist. Please call our office at 770-552-0333 to inquire about the fee of a specific therapist.
Do you bill insurance?
We do not accept nor file insurance of any kind. However, we will happily provide you with documentation if you wish to file out of network with your insurance. You may wish to inquire with your insurance company about your out-of-network benefits.
What does the therapy process look like?
Therapy is a collaborative process where you and your therapist will work together on equal footing to achieve goals that you define. Therapy begins with the intake process where you will discuss what to expect during therapy. Together you will form a treatment plan, including the type of therapy, how often you will attend therapy, your short- and long-term goals, and the steps you will take to achieve them. After the intake, you will attend regular therapy sessions based on your treatment plan, but note that participation in therapy is voluntary and you can stop at any time. When you achieve your goals, we will review your progress, identify supports that will help you maintain your progress, and discuss how to return to therapy if you need it in the future.
What is your Cancellation Policy?
In the event that you are unable to keep an appointment, you must notify us at least 24 hours in advance. If such advance notice is not received, you will be financially responsible for the session you missed and the card you have on file will be charged for the missed or rescheduled appointment, or late cancellation.
Do you offer online therapy?
While we encourage clients to attend in-person therapy, we do offer video or telehealth sessions for clients who prefer that option or require it in a pinch.
