Taylor Trussell
Taylor Trussell is a Licensed Professional Counselor who helps adults and adolescents identify thought patterns, emotions, and behaviors that prevent them from being their best self. Taylor is currently accepting new clients – welcoming men and women of all ages and adolescents.
Taylor specializes in treating trauma, OCD, and insomnia using evidence-based approaches. He has extensive experience working with clients with ARFID (Avoidant/Restrictive Food Disorder). He is also certified in SMART (Self-Management and Recovery Training) Recovery, which helps people manage compulsive and addictive behaviors. Taylor has an interest in men’s issues, as well as expertise in treating depression and anxiety.
Before joining Positive Living Psychotherapy, Taylor directed intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs and worked in residential facilities. With previous careers as a college professor and a marketing consultant, Taylor draws from a broad range of experience to meet his clients where they are.
Taylor has a master’s degree in counseling psychology as well as Ph.D. in philosophy.
