Jessica Bassett
Jessica Bassett is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She is committed to helping treat couples, families, adults, and teens.
Her clinical interests include marital discord, improving family cohesion, self-esteem, and adolescent eating disorders. Jessica provides a safe space to all her clients allowing them to process difficult emotions and be able to better identify their goals. She uses multi-systemic therapy techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Gottman Method Couples Therapy in her work.
She guides each client or client family to respond more effectively to the negative thinking patterns that often get in the way of improving and embracing the positive relationship aspects frequently overlooked. Jessica is specially trained in Family-Based Treatment (FBT) to treat adolescents and eating disorders.
Jessica has experience working in residential inpatient, partial hospitalization (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP).
Jessica Bassett holds a Bachelor of Science from Kennesaw State University, graduating on the Dean’s List in Psychology. She earned a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy and Counseling from Capella University and has been inducted into the Delta Kappa International Marriage and Family Therapy Honor Society.
